Our landfills are designed using internationally acceptable technology
in compliance with the highest requirement of Department of Environment, Government of Malaysia. In the journey of realising the goal of better waste management in Malaysia, our expertise in this area includes the design, construction, operation, closure, restoration and after care of landfills, including the post-operation extraction of resources from a landfill.
Through strategic foresight, expertise and experience, available resources and a strong balance sheets, we are now expanding our waste management business to green solutions locally and internationally, while at the same time seeking new technologies, strategic alliances, smart partnerships to fast-track our international market penetration.
Forward-thinking, WHB Environment is focusing more strongly on the comprehensive waste management centre.
Through the Integrated Solid Waste Management Centre or what we call as ISWMC, we are convinced that effective and long-term waste reduction can only be achieved by developing several components of integrated waste management facilities, such as waste to energy plants, composting plant, materials recovery facility (MRF) for municipal waste and construction waste, anaerobic digester and a R&D research facility.
Worldwide Environment Division has been providing a vital service in the solid waste management services business for more than a decade.
